Fridai @ Microsoft Data and AI Day

Mark J. Engelhardt, co-founder and CEO @ Fridai will be one of the main speakers at Pocket Gamer

Berlin, 23 February, 2021

Amazing European AI games start-up Fridai makes its debut at Microsoft’s Data and AI Day on March 11th. Fridai has been invited by Microsoft, their main technology partner to showcase and demo the AI powered voice assistant solution. The Berlin based startup has built Fridai for PC gamers based on Microsoft Azure and Cognitive Services.

The story starts in Berlin in 2019. A simple idea is developed by friends (and hardcore gamers) Mark Englehardt, Adam Balogh and Balint Mrakovics was voted Voice Product of the Year by Product Hunt. In 2021, Fridai is bringing even more to the gamer. “We have created a tool where the player never needs to leave their screen to explore strategies or gather hints or tips on how to play,” CEO Mark Engelhardt says. “This is the ultimate in voice intelligence.”

Besides an increasing competition for endless strategies and solutions, 3 trends are driving game development and gameplay for 2021: voice assistants, coaches and companions to get gamers that much closer to the action. Game publishers and developers therefore could generate more data than ever analyzing their player’s behavior – only they cannot as if players are not playing, then data collection is not possible. With Fridai however, anonymous data can be analyzed, therefore better gamer personas can be created.

Join Mark for his presentation “All About the Gamers – The future of AI in gaming” on Thu 11 March 2021 15:00 – 15:30 CET at Microsoft Data and AI Day. “This is such a great opportunity for Fridai, it’s an honour to be acknowledged this way by our main AI partner. We’re super-stoked to be involved with their online event. There is going to be a Fridai on Thursday!” says Engelhardt.
